How strictly the model should follow the prompt vs. produce a more natural image. Guidance scale (also called CFG, Classifier Free Guidance) controls the balance between prompt adherence and natural sampling. Higher values (10–20) follow prompts strictly but can look over saturated; lower values (3–7) feel more photographic. Modern flagship models tune this internally.
