The portion of a video prompt that describes camera movement and on screen action. A motion prompt is the verb rich portion of a video prompt: 'slow dolly forward, character turns left, hair catches the wind'. Strong motion prompts dramatically improve coherence on Sora 2, Veo 3.1 and Kling 3.0. Avoid stacking more than 2–3 actions per clip — the model will compromise on each. Related: text to video.
