HeyGen interactive avatar alternative
HeyGen LiveAvatar is real-time avatar technology: an avatar that listens and answers with lip-sync, expressions and gestures, delivered API-first over WebRTC. It supports custom avatars and your own LLM. It is priced in credits: on the Essential plan, $99 a month buys 1,100 credits, which HeyGen puts at roughly 500 to 1,000 streaming minutes depending on the mode.
That makes LiveAvatar a strong choice when you want to build your own avatar experience and have developers to do it. What it leaves to you is the business workflow: approving the knowledge, asking the qualification questions, booking in a calendar, writing the follow-up and handing over to a person. HeyGen also lets an interactive avatar join Zoom meetings through HeyGen Labs.
Lilidi Twin packages that workflow. It answers only from the knowledge you approved, books in Google Calendar or Calendly, follows up in Gmail, joins Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls by link, and records every conversation for your team. Plans start at $19 a month. Choose HeyGen if you are building a product around an avatar; choose Lilidi if you want the conversations handled.

Tavus alternative for sales and support teams
Tavus CVI (Conversational Video Interface) is a developer platform for real-time video agents built on Tavus replicas. The developer Starter plan costs $59 a month with 100 minutes of conversational video and $0.37 per extra minute; Growth is $397 for 1,250 minutes, and a free tier includes 25 minutes. Tavus also sells PALs, a consumer companion app, from $20 a month.
Tavus gives developers a knowledge base, memories and fine control over the replica. With CVI, connecting a replica to a Zoom call is an integration you build through the API, and booking, lead capture and handoff are yours to build as well. Tavus's own PAL agents can join Google Meet, Zoom and Teams calls from a calendar invite, and connect to apps such as Gmail and Google Calendar.
For a sales or support team without engineers, Lilidi Twin is the shorter path. Its Starter plan is also $59 a month and includes 175 video minutes; extra minutes cost $0.39. Qualification, booking, follow-up, meetings and handoff work without code. Tavus is the better fit when you are building a custom video agent into your own product.

Synthesia Interactive Avatars vs Lilidi Twin
Synthesia Interactive Avatars are generally available to anyone with a Synthesia API key, at $0.12 per minute, pay as you go. They put a Synthesia avatar in front of your own conversational agent; today that means a plugin for Python LiveKit Agents. In Synthesia's words: “You keep full control of the conversation; we handle the face.”
That fits teams that already run a voice agent and want a face for it in a web app, a mobile app or a kiosk. Everything behind the face, from knowledge to booking to handoff, comes from your own agent. Synthesia lists a managed end-to-end option as coming soon.
Lilidi Twin is an end-to-end option today: the agent, the approved knowledge, the avatar, the calendar, the follow-up and the meetings in one product, set up without code.
